Basic Pilot Requirements
1. Hold a valid FAA pilot certificate (Certified FLyers will retain a copy).
2. Hold a current medical certificate (Certified Flyers will retain a copy).
3. Provide proof of citizenship (Birth Certificate or Passport) as per TSA rules.
4. Logbook for proof of currency (Certified Flyers will retain a copy of the last 2 pages).
5. A one-time logbook endorsement as per TSA requirements from a certified flight instructor.
6. Certified Flyers Rental Agreement.
7. Certified Flyers Enrollment Application.
8. Complete a Cirrus checkout questionnaire.
9. Complete appropriate checkout flight(s) with a Certified Flyers filght instructior (see below).
Cirrus SR20 Checkout
Private Pilot Certificate
Night flights require an instrument rating
Technically Advanced Aircraft Transition Course (ground)
Demonstrate proficiency with the use of Garmin 430 and
Stec 55X autopilot
Minimum 15 to 20 Hours flight time in the Cirrus SR20
Complete and pass a TAA/Cirrus POH written exam
Cirrus SR22 Checkout
Private Pilot Certificate
Instrument Rating
Technically Advanced Aircraft Transition Course (ground)
Demonstrate proficiency with the use of Garmin 430 and
Stec 55X autopilot
Minimum 15 to 20 Hours flight time in the Cirrus SR22
Complete and pass TAA/Cirrus POH written exam
